Overview New Season Treatment Centers has provided leading outpatient treatment for over 30 years, offering safe, high‑quality care to individuals living with opioid use disorder. We are hiring a Substance Abuse Counselor to join our collaborative treatment team and make a tangible impact in your local community. As a member of our team you will: engage with patients through individual, group, and family counseling; work closely with our Medical Director, Program Director, Treatment Services Coordinator, and Nursing staff; and support the overall well‑being of each client. Essential Functions Complete patient intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork. Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions. Create psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans within required time frames. Identify and address clinical/case management needs. Perform individual, group, and family counseling sessions as needed. Provide at least 20 hours of direct one‑on‑one patient contact per week. Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps. Obtain urine drug screens and initial patient photo identification. Act in the best interests of the program and company, protecting proprietary data and rights.
