Job Title: Travel RN Emergency Room Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Dept Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Room License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - 2 years ER experience - Advanced skills in assisting with intubation and emergency lifesaving procedures Description: This is a travel position for an Emergency Room RN. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit has 39 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4. There is one unit secretary and 2-3 techs available on the floor. Essential equipment includes Crash Carts, Level One, Alaris Pumps, and Dash bedside cardiac monitors. The documentation system used is MediTech. A 4-week schedule will be posted 2 weeks prior to the start date, with a preference for three 12-hour shifts per week. The floating policy requires ER hold when capacity is met, though this is rare during summer months. Patient experience requirements include 30 minutes to 1 hour for patient rounding and bedside shift report. Required certifications are ACLS, BLS, and PALS. The dress code is black scrubs. Unit guidelines and policies are to be attached. This facility is committed to the care and improvement of human life.
