Position: Nocturnist
Start Date: December 7, 2026
Assignment End Date: May 30, 2027
Assignment Length: 6 months
Extension: Option to extend
Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
Shift: 12-hour shifts
Rotation: Rotating every other week
EMR: Epic

Licenses & Certifications

Certification: Board-Certified Physician Assistant required
Virginia Medical License: Active license required
Virginia DEA: Active DEA required

Experience

2+ years of recent Pulmonary/Critical Care experience required

Clinical Responsibilities & Procedures

Central venous catheter placement
Arterial line placement
Thoracentesis
Chest tube placement
Pigtail catheter insertion
Bedside ultrasounds
Flexible bronchoscopy
Management of indwelling pleural catheters
Intubation
