What we offer $3,000 Sign-on Bonus Tool Program Work/life balance: Shifts are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (no weekends) Paid Time Off (up to 2 weeks accrued in first year of employment) Base hourly wage range for a Level 2 mechanic is $24-$26, and for a Level 3 mechanic is $27-$30 and is based on experience Quarterly bonus program - guaranteed amount for first 4 full quarters worked (adds $3/hr to hourly wage!) Education and Experience High school diploma or G.E.D. Valid driver's license Experience in preventative maintenance required for Level 2 Mechanic Experience with computer trouble-shooting programs, suspension and steering components, and diagnostics required for Level 3 Mechanic Main Job Responsibilities Level 2 Mechanic: Perform all level 1 duties if needed but will spend most of the time on preventative maintenance including but not limited to Servicing of trucks and trailers, DOT Inspections on trucks and trailers, minor engine diagnostics, emissions systems troubleshooting. Will receive training during this time from inside and outside sources for continual advancement opportunities. Level 3 Mechanic: Perform all level 2 duties if needed, other tasks include but are not limited to: Work with computer trouble-shooting programs, understand all suspension and steering components with ability to adjust and repair, have full understanding on the class 8 braking system. Review job orders and observe trucks in operation to diagnose issues and plan repairs.
