Description - Your Role

• Conduct routine and intricate clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and additional areas following established protocols.
• Assess results for precision, identify troubleshooting strategies, and perform routine upkeep and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document procedures, mentor new employees or students, and help maintain lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your tenure.
