Primary Duties

• Understand, troubleshoot, and support cobot processing station.
• Perform post cut cleaning of interior and exterior cuts.
• Read/comprehend blueprints, bill of materials, customer specifications, and fit up requirements to process parts effectively.
• Develop fixturing and work piece holding for consistent, repeatable parts.
• Ensure all processed cuts are dimensionally accurate to drawing and/or receiving part.
• Pre-inspect all material for defects prior to layout/ processing.
• Maintain and complete all records relating to machine.
• Interface with Quality Management Team to ensure all company, customer, and industry standards are upheld.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment & support a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible.

Schedule:

• Full Time position
• 10-hour or 8-hour shifts
• Day Shift (possible 2nd shift in the future)
• Monday – Friday
• Some weekend if required to meet schedule, overtime announced the Wednesday prior.

Required Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Knowledge of oxy-fuel and plasma cutting operation. Working knowledge of material cutting using both oxy-fuel and plasma.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”.
• Ability to layout both flat and radial shapes for processing.
• Familiar with structural steel components and rolled shells.
• Blueprint reading including GD&T.
• Problem-solving (Yes! We want you to think and share your ideas!)
• Willingness to be flexible with job duties to meet plant and customer requirements (If you’ve been in this business a while, you know that the customer rules, so sometimes we have to be flexible!)
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb steps, lift 50 pounds or push/pull 100 pounds following safety procedures & use a ladder following safety procedures.
