DevSecOps Engineer

Hiring: DevSecOps Engineer | Austin, TX & Sunnyvale, CA | Hybrid

We're looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Golang, Python, DevOps automation, and cloud infrastructure to join a high-performing engineering team.

Location: Austin, TX & Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Work Authorization: USC and GC Only

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS

• Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools

• Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent technologies

• Develop automation solutions and cloud-native applications using Golang and Python

• Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes

• Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure, applications, and deployment pipelines

• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability and performance

• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to streamline software delivery processes

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance-related issues

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvements

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services

• Strong programming expertise in Golang

• Strong programming and scripting experience with Python

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar platforms

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration

• Knowledge of cloud security, monitoring, logging, and automation

• Strong DevOps engineering and automation experience

A highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer who can build and secure cloud-native infrastructure, automate deployment pipelines, and support enterprise-scale applications. The ideal candidate will have strong AWS expertise, excellent coding skills in Golang and Python, and a passion for automation, security, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience implementing DevSecOps best practices in enterprise environments

• Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or similar

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-native application development

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
