Banquet Supervisor

We are looking to add a Culinary Supervisor to our team. The Culinary Supervisor manages the kitchen food service, food inventories, vendor deliveries, food preparation, and menu planning while adhering to regulatory guidelines. Our ideal candidate has success as a cook and maintains the hands on approach when readying a kitchen for service. Responsibilities:

• Prepares and serves food in proper quantities according to the planned menu.
• Prepares, stores, and disposes of food using proper food handling, labeling, and safety techniques according to established policies and procedures.
• Ensures that food is served in an attractive, appetizing manner. Uses proper tasting technique to ensure quality taste and palatability prior to service.
• Maintains the proper temperature of food during preparation and service.
• Maintains food service equipment and work spaces in a clean and safe condition at all times according to facility policies and procedures and applicable regulations.
• Conduct/monitor that all sanitation is done to standard.
• Great communications skills and customer service A MUST!

Schedule: Must be flexible to work AM & PM schedules-Full-time

Qualifications

• Possesses proven ability to evaluate work quantity
• Influences pace to achieve within allocated time frame
• Overall basic knowledge of cooking techniques in both a la carte and banquet settings
• Able to carry out tasks in both planned and troubleshooting scenarios
• Influences speed and accuracy of the team
• Positive impact on cleanliness, organization and overall health of the kitchen
