Senior Data Entry Specialist

Are you a data-focused professional with sharp analytical skills and a talent for problem-solving? Two prominent Rhode Island state agencies are seeking a dedicated Senior Data Entry Specialist to support a critical financial alignment initiative.
In this role, you will focus on reconciling grant data between the State’s ERP system (Workday), individual agency records, and federal drawdown data. Comprehensive training on the state's specific grant data and reconciliation methods will be provided at the start of the project.
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $38.00 per hour
Responsibilities of the Senior Data Entry Specialist:
Data Reconciliation: Review, match, and reconcile grant data across Workday, state agency files, and federal systems.
Agency Collaboration: Work directly with state agency staff to assist them with complex data reconciliation tasks.
Problem Solving: Identify data discrepancies, track down errors, and resolve reporting mismatches efficiently.
Process Mastery: Learn and successfully apply the state's specialized methods for financial data reconciliation.
Qualifications of the Senior Data Entry Specialist:
Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall data analytics skills.
Core Traits: Exceptional attention to detail combined with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining absolute accuracy.
Adaptability: A proactive willingness to learn new, specific financial and state data reconciliation methodologies.
Preferred Background: Prior experience working with federal grants is preferred, though not strictly required.
