Join DEEP SOUTH CONTROLS LLC as a Building Automation Controls Tech Helper, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing building efficiency through innovative automation solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in Central Tx Area dedicated to delivering top-notch service in the building automation industry. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and configuration of building automation systems.
- Support technicians in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on automated control systems.
- Help with wiring and connecting control panels and sensors.
- Document service calls and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on all jobs.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC or electrical systems preferred.
- Basic understanding of building automation systems and controls.
- Experience in a technical or mechanical role is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
