This role is an incredible opportunity for someone who has a passion for accounting and finance, and desires to use their skills to make a significant impact. The candidate will be responsible for providing financial advice and support to help our non-profit clients make sound business decisions. The successful candidate will be a part of a dynamic team that is focused on providing top-notch accounting services and financial guidance. Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points.Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape.Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective action.Maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development.Help determine financial strategy and policy, arranging the appropriate funding and managing financial risks in the organization.Advise managers on financial policy and control, such as the cost of carrying out a particular type of work or investment.Liaise with managerial staff and other colleagues, oversee the company's financial risk.Manage financial systems and budgets, advise on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions.Analyze financial performance and so contribute to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers.Implement corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldA minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or a related field, with a specific focus on the non-profit sector.Strong understanding of federal and state fiscal regulations.Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.Professional judgement and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field.Analytical skills with a thorough attention to detail.Ability to strategize and solve problems.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
