Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children’s developmental needs, focusing on physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills.

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), working collaboratively with families to set achievable outcomes.
  • \n
  • Monitor and track progress to ensure effective service delivery, adjusting strategies based on each child’s unique developmental milestones and family requirements.
  • \n
  • Provide critical family support, equipping parents and caregivers with information, skills, and resources to enhance their children’s growth.
  • \n
  • Implement evidence-based practices that promote a natural learning environment, ensuring interventions are adapted to fit the unique learning styles of each child.

  • Engage with families to develop joint plans that include recommended strategies and frequency of services based on child development status and family priorities.
  • \n
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations and standards to ensure the health and safety of clients and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with infants and toddlers facing developmental challenges, facilitating their growth during a critical stage of life—ages birth to three years. Your expertise will help guide families through the early intervention process, ensuring that children receive timely and appropriate support to thrive both in physical and emotional development.

Qualifications\n

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or a doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.
  • \n
  • A valid driver’s license is required for occasional in-person meetings or evaluations.
  • \n
  • One year of direct experience in working with children in an early intervention setting is essential.
  • \n
  • Fluency in more than one language is highly encouraged, as it enhances our ability to serve diverse communities.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with a strong focus on collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits\n
