Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Empower young learners as a Special Education Teacher in a vibrant elementary setting near Charlestown, NH! This part-time contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives while maintaining a flexible schedule of 15-20 hours per week.

You’ll work with a dedicated group of 22-24 elementary students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing both direct educational services and case management. The elementary school environment is supportive, fostering collaboration among educators and specialists as you help each child reach their fullest potential.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active New Hampshire Special Education Certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students
• Skilled at developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
• Strong communication abilities for collaborating with families and educational teams
• Comfort with a diverse range of learning, emotional, and behavioral disabilities
• Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching methods to individual student needs
• Excellent organizational skills for both classroom instruction and case management

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction aligned to students’ IEPs
• Provide case management services, including progress monitoring and documentation
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress with families
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Stay current with best practices in special education
