Packaging Associate

Location: Sparta, MI Shift: 2nd Shift M-F 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM Pay: $18 per hour

Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Packaging Associate to join our team in Sparta, MI. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in our operations by inspecting and packaging plastic bags and plastic film roll stock to ensure products meet quality standards and are ready for shipment to customers.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Packaging Associate, your key responsibilities will include operating a bagging machine that converts flexible packaging materials, inspecting cartons and products to ensure packaging meets company specifications and quality standards, and building boxes, labeling products, and preparing materials for shipment. Additionally, you may be asked to complete production paperwork, inspect bags for defects, and support other production needs throughout your shift.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications: Prior 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred, ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds, ability to stand for 8–10 hours per shift, ability to read a tape measure, and ability to read and write in English.
Skills: Problem-solving skills to address production issues efficiently and strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
