Develop and implement individualized care plans with specific goals and interventions based on assessment data. Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary and documenting progress. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self‑care strategies to empower them in managing their health. Compensation and Bonuses 10,000 Sign‑on Bonus and 5,000 Relocation Bonus available for eligible candidates. Applicable experience required for sign‑on eligibility. Internal candidates and rehires within 12 months are not eligible. Must live 50 miles outside of campus address for relocation eligibility. Pay Range: $31.53 - $52.24 Unit Highlights The CVICU is a 20‑bed unit that cares for post‑surgical open heart procedures, vascular and thoracic surgeries. We have 24/7 intensivist support within the department. Our typical ratio post surgical open heart and advanced devices is 1:1 until stabilized, otherwise, the traditional 2:1 patient/RN ratio is normal. We work closely with our CVOR, cathlab and PCU units to best provide care to our cardiovascular service line patients. We are a dynamic, multicultural team that enjoys working together and teamwork is key to our successes. We also partner with our Neuro ICU and Medical ICU within our campus.
