In-Home Caregiver

Locations: Omaha, Lincoln, and Rural Nebraska

Position Summary:

True North Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced In-Home Caregivers to provide high-quality support for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and clients requiring assistance with daily living. As a caregiver, you will play an essential role in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life by delivering personalized care in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care tailored to each client's individual needs.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support client mobility, transfers, and physical movement while ensuring safety.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Monitor clients' health, safety, and overall well-being, reporting any changes promptly.
• Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with clients, family members, and the care team.
• Accurately document care provided, observations, and client progress in accordance with company policies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of professional in-home caregiving experience .
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or clients requiring personal care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and daily activities.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (preferred if travel between client homes is required).
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet state employment requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must work a minimum of 35 hours per week
• Must be available to work 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Must be available to work in Lincoln or Omaha
• Must have no more than 3 absences during the first 90 days
• Must remain an employee in good standing during each bonus period
• Must continue to meet all applicable employment and performance expectations

IMPORTANT

The $1,500 total hiring bonus is paid in three installments of $500 . Employees must meet all eligibility requirements at each payment milestone to receive that portion of the bonus.

90 Days: $500 | 6 Months: $500 | 1 Year: $500
