Intake Specialist

Overview The Intake Specialist is the first point of contact for prospective clients and shapes their first impression of the firm. This role conducts warm, careful intake conversations, screens matters against the firm’s appellate focus, and connects matters we cannot help with to a trusted referral partner. In addition to intake, this role supports client communications and new-client onboarding and collaborates with the rest of the team to keep records, trackers, and files accurate and current. Responsibilities Serve as the initial contact for prospective clients and manage intake conversations. Screen matters to ensure alignment with the firm’s exclusive appellate focus. Refer or connect matters we cannot handle to a trusted referral partner. Support client communications and new-client onboarding. Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate records, trackers, and files. Handle a modest intake volume (up to five calls per day) and contribute to ongoing communications and onboarding beyond phone screening.
