Manufacturing Operations Coordinator
A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Coordinator to support mechanical inspection operations by processing precision-machined components through manual and automated inspection systems, performing microscopic visual inspections, operating precision measurement equipment, and ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Manufacturing Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Process precision-machined components through manual and automated mechanical inspection operations while ensuring compliance with manufacturing quality standards and operational procedures.
- Perform detailed visual inspections using microscopes and operate automated inspection equipment to verify product quality, dimensional accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
- Utilize precision measurement tools, including pin, thread, and ring gages, to inspect high-volume production parts and accurately document inspection results.
- Support manufacturing operations by using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Microsoft Excel, and Windows-based applications to track production activities and maintain accurate inspection records.
- Maintain operational excellence by following work instructions, interpreting engineering specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), collaborating with team members, and supporting training on day shift when required.
Manufacturing Operations Coordinator Qualifications:
- Some college coursework or technical training is preferred.
- Proficiency using Windows PC applications and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience performing high-volume parts inspection and handling.
- Experience operating automated inspection equipment.
- Experience performing microscopic visual inspection.
- Experience using precision pin, thread, and ring gages.
- Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
