Job Title Assistant Professor of Nursing Employment Type Full-time, Tenure-track. 9‑month academic year. Department Nursing (LSUA ASA - HHS - Nursing) Location LSU - Alexandria Responsibilities Teaching in ASN Program (Primary) or RN‑BSN program (Adjunct) Incorporate student‑learning teaching/learning strategies in classroom and lab/clinical instruction. Participate in Department of Nursing and University Committees. Ensure student compliance with health requirements. Participate in student counseling and advising. Schedule office hours in compliance with University Policy. Evaluate student performance in classroom and clinical courses. Develop course schedules and syllabi in compliance with department and University policies. Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing. Two years clinical experience as registered nurse. Obtain Certified Nurse Educator credential within 3 years of hire. Active Louisiana RN license or Compact License. CPR certified with documented health compliance as required of nursing faculty.
