BIM Coordinator

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our team. The BIM Coordinator is a full time position with opportunities to grow and expand your knowledge on our VDC/BIM team. Major Duties Develop BIM Models in Revit - Create and maintain accurate 3D models of electrical systems including telecom, fire alarm & security when required. Implement BIM Execution Plan – Review and implement project specifications and BIM LOD’s, as well as following industry and company standards. Work closely with project managers, foreman and other project teams to coordinate and resolve design conflicts. Produce accurate and constructable plan sets, schedules, and detailed drawings. Assist and support development and maintenance of project standards. Actively contribute to a positive team environment. Demonstrate dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours. Be a self starter. Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager. Minimum Qualifications Experience working with BIM software including Revit, Navisworks, and Revizto. Experience with electrical systems including the ability to read a single line and plan sets preferred. Ability to actively listen, understand, and respond to diverse perspectives. Demonstrate ability to think critically, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions. Experience working with cloud-based models. Understanding of MS Office including Word and Excel. Autodesk certification or associate's degree in AutoCAD/Revit drafting and design preferred.
