Registered Behavior Technician in Kent, WA

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Valid RBT credential in good standing
• Previous experience working with children or within a school environment preferred
• Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques
• Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with instructional teams, families, and clinical supervisors
• Adaptability and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group ABA therapy and interventions as determined by Behavior Intervention Plans
• Implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect accurate data on student progress and provide regular updates to teams
• Support classroom instruction and social skill development
• Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Foster an encouraging and safe environment for all learners
