Location: Idaho Branch Office (IBO), Naval Reactors Facility (NRF), Idaho. On-site duty station; no travel required.

Schedule: Full-time, approximately 2,080 hours per period of performance (base year plus four option years), anticipated as four 10-hour days per week.

Security Clearance: Active DOE L access required prior to contract start. Candidates holding an active DoD Secret clearance are preferred, since DOE reciprocity can bridge site access while the DOE L determination is adjudicated. Position is a drug-testing-designated position under 10 CFR Part 707, subject to pre-employment, random, and for-cause testing.

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.

Required Background and Experience

• Project management experience.
• Microsoft certification or demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate technical ideas and concepts through clear, concise verbal and written communication.

Required Certifications

Microsoft certification (e.g., Microsoft Office Specialist) or documented proficiency in lieu of certification.

Preferred Certifications and Experience

• Experience with software development processes.
• Strong customer service skills, coupled with strong teaming, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated experience proactively resolving issues and improving processes, prioritizing across multiple tasks, and seeing work through to completion.
• Knowledge of systems administration, including Active Directory and group policy.
• Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures; experience developing and implementing new policies and processes.

Representative Duties

• Provide personnel at all locations with IT support by understanding requirements and mobilizing or coordinating support from site personnel; field general IT questions and issues and provide direct IT support.
• Execute employee onboarding and offboarding IT actions, and maintain a knowledgebase of current hardware and software supporting maintenance, enhancements, and refresh cycles.
• Monitor the status of open NRLFO Remedy tickets and assist in tracking, prioritizing, and resolving open tickets to ensure resolution within established service level agreements.
• Support telecommunications items including voice, data, and video systems, and ensure new or transferred employees' telecommunications needs are met.
• Build and maintain documents tracking IT-related tasks and projects; deliver weekly briefings to NRLFO IT managers summarizing project status, risks, delays, and mitigation plans.
