Intern - Data Analyst

Role Description

As a Data Analytics Intern, you will engage across all functions of the company, including corporate and clinical functions. Responsibilities will include:

• Aggregating data sets utilizing a combination of software, SQL, and Alteryx.
• Building custom visualizations within Tableau.
• Applying critical thinking to ensure data integrity and quality control.
• Presenting your analysis and products to internal customers.
• Assisting analysts and supervisors in data aggregation.
• Preparing data through use of SQL and Alteryx for optimal performance in Tableau Reporting.
• Assisting with Tableau visualizations and fine-tuning.
• Participating in team concepts and promoting a team effort.
• Attending various stakeholder meetings, taking notes, and helping with follow-up.
• Assisting in data requirements documentation.
• Participating in activities to enhance connection to the company and encourage personal growth.
• Creating and publishing periodic reports, as well as necessary ad hoc reports.
• Working independently and managing responsibilities.
• Thriving in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Maintaining regular and reliable attendance and demonstrating professional communication.
• Following HIPAA guidelines and Privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; degree in finance, decision sciences, healthcare, business, or another analytical discipline strongly preferred.
• Expressed interest in healthcare management and analytics.
• 0 to 2 years' experience with large data sets, data dissemination, and complex problem-solving; other relevant experience will be considered; previous dialysis experience a strong plus.
• Strong communication and being a self-starter are preferred.
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Word.
• Advanced analytical skills required, Excel and Microsoft SQL.
• Tableau and Alteryx skills a plus.
