Mental Health Counselor

Responsibilities Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create/implement treatment plans. Complete ongoing documentation, including further diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes per company policy. Maintain a caseload of 25 client sessions per week. Provide excellent customer service to clients and collaborate with a dynamic team. Utilize creative interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals. Coordinate services with case managers, families, workplace personnel, medical personnel, other staff, and school staff as needed. Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training. Required Qualifications A master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution. Full licensure in Maryland as an LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP. Experience completing diagnosis assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes. Preferred Qualifications Creative and innovative approaches to mental health treatment. Experience working with children, adolescents, and teens. Experience with couples and families. General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, and insurance billing.
