Prep CookThe prep cook is responsible for assisting in the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, making salads, cupping sauces, and prepping food for use in daily specials. The prep cook also assists in general cleaning and storing food items and non-food items, and cleaning and sanitizing production and storage equipment.Job duties include:Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, etc.Prepare salads, sauces, dressings, etc.Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they are organized and easily accessibleMaintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing cooking and food storage areasPerform other kitchen duties as assignedAttend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvementRelieve cooks and waitresses for breaksPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
