Our client seeks a senior Physical Access Control System consultant with deep AMAG Symmetry expertise to lead or assist a large Symmetry upgrade to V11 and provide technical leadership for implementation, integration, and support of a next-generation enterprise access control platform. The consultant will advise project and support teams, collaborate with the selected vendor, and ensure a scalable, secure, and supportable solution across physical security, application architecture, cloud technologies, and enterprise integrations.

 

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

 

Rate: $65.00 to $72.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the PACS technical SME and advisor to project and support teams.
• Review architecture, design, integration, and implementation plans provided by the vendor.
• Support PACS upgrade activities, including AMAG Symmetry upgrades to V11.
• Define operational support, monitoring, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Guide integrations with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and security systems.
• Assist with testing and production readiness.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation and stabilization.

Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years supporting, upgrading, and implementing enterprise PACS.
• Strong hands-on AMAG Symmetry experience.
• Experience with PACS architecture, badge management, access provisioning, alarms, readers, controllers, and Field Control Panels.
• Experience collaborating with PACS vendors, system integrators, and implementation teams.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience.
• Experience with enterprise application integrations and APIs.
• Experience supporting highly available, multi-site systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Preferred: AMAG Connect and/or Guest, AWS or hybrid architectures, Kafka or event streaming, integrations with identity management, HR systems, PSIM, VMS, IDS, or ServiceNow, experience with CyberArk, SIEM, Splunk, or enterprise monitoring, and utility, critical infrastructure, or NERC CIP-regulated industry experience.

The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
