- Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients with a variety of conditions, including post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal injuries.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals, working closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, functional mobility training, and modalities.
- Monitor and document patient progress , adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on the best strategies for recovery, including proper body mechanics and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Ohio State Physical Therapy License or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong clinical experience in treating inpatient patients, especially those recovering from surgery, trauma, or neurological conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients, families, and team members.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Specialized certifications in orthopedics, neurology, or other areas of rehabilitation (e.g., OCS, NCS, etc.).
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
