MLR Healthcare is seeking an In-Patient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team at a renowned healthcare facility in Ohio. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients with a variety of conditions, including post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal injuries.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals, working closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, functional mobility training, and modalities.
Monitor and document patient progress , adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on the best strategies for recovery, including proper body mechanics and self-care techniques.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care for patients.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Ohio State Physical Therapy License or eligibility for licensure.
Strong clinical experience in treating inpatient patients, especially those recovering from surgery, trauma, or neurological conditions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients, families, and team members.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Specialized certifications in orthopedics, neurology, or other areas of rehabilitation (e.g., OCS, NCS, etc.).
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
