Hiring Range: $20.40-$26.52

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

• Provides walk-in individual counseling sessions using solution-focused brief therapy and supportive counseling for children and adults
• Assists in identifying treatment needs and goals for patients seeking referral for psychotherapy
• Provides pre-crisis supports, including risk assessments and safety planning, collaborating with the crisis team when needed
• Provides patients with information regarding resources and activities within the community, making referrals as needed
• Maintains thorough and confidential records, completing all documentation in a timely manner

Complexity of Work:

Within scope of the job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Science, or Psychology. Must be able to read, write and follow instructions in English.
