Job Title Litigation Paralegal – Trust & Probate Estate Litigation Office Location: Orange County | Department: Litigation | Reports To: Managing Attorney | FLSA Status: Full-time | Pay scale: $75,000 to $120,000 Position Summary RMO LLP is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support our Orange County office. The paralegal will partner with attorneys in preparing court filings, discovery, subpoenas, document productions, witness coordination, and trial support. Candidates should be proficient in probate and civil procedure, possess superior organizational and technical skills, and meet all billing member requirements. Paralegals report directly to their Managing Attorney. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities Work in a fast‑paced, demanding environment. Demonstrate strong, team‑oriented work habits and ethics. Use excellent judgment and decision‑making skills. Independently manage multiple priorities and time effectively. Communicate effectively in oral and written formats. Maintain strong organizational skills; be deadline and detail‑oriented. Analyze legal documents for accuracy and completeness; serve as a meticulous proofreader. Use Word, Excel, Outlook, and legal/office software such as Smokeball® and Adobe. Skills and Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience as a paralegal in probate, trust, estate, or civil litigation. Strong, team‑oriented work habits and ethics. Excellent judgment and decision‑making skills. Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and time effectively. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills; deadline and detail‑oriented. Strong proofreader with ability to analyze legal documents accurately. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and legal/office software such as Smokeball® and Adobe. Must meet paralegal qualifications under California Business and Professions Code §6450. Education and Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience as a paralegal in probate, trust, estate, or civil litigation. Paralegal Certificate from an ABA‑approved program, or Certified Paralegal or Certified Legal Assistant designation; bachelor’s degree a plus. Must meet paralegal qualifications under California Business and Professions Code §6450. Physical Demands of Position Work is performed in a professional office environment. Must remain in a stationary position for long periods (working at a computer). Interact regularly with others verbally, in person, and via written communication. Additional Responsibilities Provide additional assistance and support as directed by supervisor. Travel occasionally to the firm’s other offices and external events.
