Job Overview
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management and project control activities, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and performance using company-specific tools and self-made tools (mainly Excel spreadsheets).
• Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Support program design and development efforts by gathering requirements and documenting processes.
• Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation.
• Goal is to learn to lead internal team calls and perform schedule updates and create reports for the customer.

Requirements

• Experience in project coordination or a similar role in construction.
• Familiarity with project management tools/terminology.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (oil & gas construction preferred).
• Understanding of construction concepts and methods.
• Ability to read and understand project schedules and create reports based on the information.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
• Experience with scheduling is preferred.

Additional Details

• Standard Work Schedule is Monday - Thursday @ 9 hours and Fridays @ 4 hours. Schedule may be modified to meet project needs.
• Based in Houston office but will require regular visits to jobsites.
• Company laptop included.
