Seeking an experienced school psychologist for a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K–12 students throughout the academic year. This position, based near Charlotte, MI, runs from August 14th to June 4th, 2027, offering a consistent, 4-days-per-week schedule at .9 FTE across two welcoming school sites.
As the designated evaluator, you'll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 40 to 50 assessments during the contract, making a meaningful impact by providing essential evaluations that help shape student learning plans and support services. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and student support professionals in a positive, student-centered environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist in Michigan (or eligibility)
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive student psychological evaluations
- Experience with K–12 populations preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating and reporting
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete full psychoeducational evaluations for students as assigned
- Analyze data to inform individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Communicate evaluation findings to multidisciplinary teams and families
- Maintain precise records and adhere to required timelines and compliance standards
- Provide insight and consultation to school staff on best practices for supporting student needs
