A rewarding opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to serve in a psychiatric hospital setting in Indianapolis, IN. This contract role invites experienced and motivated pharmacists to contribute to patient care through precise medication management and support. The position offers a standard weekday schedule with early afternoon shifts, ideal for professionals seeking balance.

Responsibilities:

• Verify electronic medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Pre-package medications efficiently for hospital use
• Manage and fill Omnicell medication dispensing machines
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams in an inpatient psychiatric environment

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 30 hours per week

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Indiana Pharmacist license in good standing is required
• Prior experience in a hospital or inpatient pharmacy setting is preferred; however, candidates are welcomed who are eager to learn and be trained
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
