Systems Engineer - Clearance Required

Description Lockheed Martin engineers innovative solutions to deliver resilient systems, products, and services across evolving cyber threats. Our focus is on protecting Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) platform/weapon systems from increasingly sophisticated threats. Where We Work Our facility is located in Deer Creek, Littleton, CO. The role is onsite full‑time and requires a US citizen with an active US DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility. Responsibilities Review customer requirements to fully understand operational scope, provide feedback, and guide product development. Develop and execute test plans and procedures, assess system readiness in‑plant and at customer sites. Document system architectures and interfaces based on stakeholder requirements. Create plans for system verification to ensure designs meet operational needs. Test and validate the system throughout the product development cycle, identify defects, provide test data, propose solutions, and verify implementations. Participate actively in an agile development environment. Who You Are The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a strong technical background, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Basic Qualifications Current/Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility. Experience in Systems Engineering life cycle process. Proven ability to develop solutions to complex technical problems. Experience with testing and problem solving for integrated systems. Desired Skills Experience with Agile methodologies. Experience with software testing and test automation tools. Experience in creating use cases and test scenarios. Security Clearance Position requires a US Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance.
