Dental Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of our practice.

Our office is a fast-paced, professional environment built on teamwork, compassion, and exceptional patient care. As a specialty practice, we take pride in our strong community presence and trusted referral relationships, working together to provide outstanding care and service to every patient.

Schedule: Part Time, M-F can vary, hours vary depending on need, minimum 20+hrs/week

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
• Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of dental front office experience

Preferred Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

The salary range for this role is $22-$26 per hour.
