Early Career Talent Partner- Trading

We're currently looking for an Early Career Talent Partner to own hiring for our Trading Department, building the pipeline of quantitative traders and trading-adjacent talent that keeps Belvedere competitive. This role will be responsible for attracting and hiring high-potential colleagues, developing quality relationships with student groups and academic programs that feed into our industry, and building a strong employer brand among the communities that produce top trading talent. You will own have stakeholder relationships with Trading leadership and strategically partner with the business to drive hiring and lead best practices in trading talent acquisition for interns, graduates, and those early in their professional careers.

\n What you'll do

• Execute the early career recruitment strategy for the Trading Department and influence future campus recruiting cycles, including undergraduate and graduate-student recruitment

• Represent Belvedere at collegiate trading competitions, poker tournaments, and industry networking events using these events as a primary sourcing and brand-building channel for quant trading talent

• Foster and maintain relationships with campus trading groups, investment clubs, and quant/finance student organizations, positioning Belvedere as a destination employer within those communities

• Build and deepen pipelines with academic programs that feed directly into our industry (such as financial mathematics, financial engineering, quantitative/quant research, applied math, and statistics programs) including faculty, program-director relationships, and alumni groups

• Full-cycle campus recruiting for Trading roles: managing a high-volume candidate pipeline from initial application through Super Day and offer stage, in partnership with our People Operations team on engagement and onboarding, including candidates with extended non-compete periods

• Partner with Trading hiring managers to understand evolving skill and market needs (quantitative reasoning, probability, market intuition) and translate them into sourcing strategy and candidate evaluation criteria

• Represent Belvedere during campus visits and virtual open houses, presenting our internship programs and early trading talent development paths

• Retroactively analyze engagement efforts to understand the return on strategic partnerships (competitions, clubs, academic programs) and the success of new engagements, out of the box engagement ideas area embraced

• Provide a high-touch candidate and hiring manager experience by articulating our core values in ways that resonate with a quantitative, trading-focused candidate pool

• Evaluate and measure recruiting results and identify areas for process and performance improvement, systematization, and automation

What you'll need

• 2+ years recruitment experience, preferably with intern, entry-level and early career talent pools in fintech, professional services, and financial firms

• Ability to manage full-cycle recruiting process including resume review, phone screens, interview scheduling and facilitation, and offer calls

• Demonstrated success recruiting at multiple universities in highly competitive markets, ideally within quantitative trading, prop trading, or finance

• Comfort engaging with quantitative and markets-adjacent concepts (probability, statistics, game theory) enough to speak credibly to trading competition organizers, quant faculty, and student trading groups

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to travel as needed during peak campus recruiting periods in the fall and spring, including to trading competitions and conferences

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/projects, meet deadlines, and facilitate change with a sense of urgency

• Proven analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with demonstrated negotiation skills and influencing positive outcomes

• Eager to take on new tasks/responsibilities and passion for candidate experience, operational excellence, and continuous development

• Experience coordinating and participating in both in-person and virtual recruiting events/activities

• Comfortable working with and presenting recruitment data and market data, reporting, and analytics

• Bachelor's Degree required

$70,000 - $90,000 a year
