Role Description This remote Insurance Broker role focuses on helping individuals and families evaluate their financial needs and select appropriate insurance and retirement solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing client risk profiles, explaining coverage options, recommending insurance products, and supporting clients through policy applications and renewals. The Insurance Broker will build and maintain long-term client relationships, provide ongoing reviews of insurance and retirement plans, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a high standard of customer service. The role also involves staying current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and product offerings to provide accurate, informed guidance. This position is designed for professionals who want to contribute to GFI’s broader mission of financial empowerment while working independently in a remote environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance to advise clients on suitable coverage options and policy structures. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance and Retirement Planning to support long-term financial strategies and wealth protection goals. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to build trust, communicate clearly, and provide responsive support to a diverse client base. Candidates should possess effective communication, sales, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in accessible terms. Relevant licenses or certifications in insurance or financial services (or willingness to obtain them) are highly beneficial. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, use digital tools, and maintain ethical and compliant practices.
