The technologist performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols. The examinations are conducted on patient populations ranging from infants to geriatrics for interpretation by a physician. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday, 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. On-call rotation is required from Monday to Thursday among all technologists. The candidate must have experience with inpatient, emergency room, and scheduled interventional cases. The ability to start IVs and perform biopsies is essential. Candidates must be capable of using technical equipment, specifically PACS systems. Compliance with emergency response team assignments during hurricane season is required. A radiation badge is necessary, which must be provided by the agency. Submissions for local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
