Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on various patient populations for interpretation by a physician. This role includes working with inpatient, outpatient, emergency room, and scheduled interventional cases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high quality CT examinations on patients of all ages.
• Start IVs and administer contrast for imaging procedures.
• Conduct biopsies when required.
• Utilize PACS systems for imaging and reporting.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide support during busy periods.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Certification from South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association required.
• Must possess or be eligible for a South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license.
