Apply today and be part of the ‘Bou Crew!Position Overview :The Warehouse Team Lead is r esponsible for the daily Order Filling, Shipping and Receiving for the Caribou Support Center . Provides training and direction for warehouse Team Members and serves as backup to Warehouse Supervisor.Core Responsibilities:Assists in training of new team members, temporar y workers, and retraining existing TMs as required in warehouse operations, safety, and proceduresEnsure fair and consistent application of Caribou policy and proceduresEnsures that warehouse crew meets established performance standardsPrepare and organize Supply Orders for processing on each shift and prepare warehouse and orders for efficient shift transitionsSchedule daily workflow with Shift Supervisor and monitor for performance each dayReview and audit picking accuracy of Team Members with ongoing review of high error itemsCoach and counsel warehouse TMs as needed; escalate to Shift Supervisor if necessaryParticipate in Cycle Counts o n a regular basisReview and update system informationManage inter and intra-warehouse inventory transfers as necessaryCoordinate the daily consolidation of self-manufactured and warehouse materialsSelect the appropriate shipping mode for each orderPrepare manifests and shipping documentsProcess special shipping ordersReview all deliveries, validate shipment authorized and check all materials for count and damageMaintain Receiving Log for all materials receivedProcess receiving documents and file as requiredDirect the proper slotting and placement of receiptsResponsible for completing required training, understanding, and complying with all Food Safety and related programsResponsible for understanding and assuring employees compliance with all Food Safety and related programsAdhere to company policies, programs, and work rulesCompliance with all Government Regulatory requirementsSkills and Requirements:Brings the Core Values to life in all that you do: Support One Another, Make Fun Happen, Be Yourself, Take Ownership, Serve With LoveHas a high degree of personal accountability and deadline managementExcel in a fast paced , results oriented , and dynamic environment; flexible and can respond quickly and effectively to business issuesMotivates the team with a strong sense of urgency and makes timely effective decisionsMust possess the ability to lead a diverse team and demonstrate consistency in team management through productive instruction and coachingExcel in a fast paced , results oriented , and dynamic environment; flexible and can respond quickly and effectively to business issuesPossesses a clear and engaging communication style rooted in a desire to understand others and cocreate solutionsPositive attitude and willingness to give and take direction, providing coordination and instruction to work as part of a teamDemonstrates flexibility and responds with positivity to changing prioritiesHighly motivated, self-directed, and results drivenDetail oriented with strong organizational skillsQualifications :Required:2 year associate/technical degree in business management or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a warehouse environment .Preferred:Experience in Multi-unit retail.Physical Demands:The physical requirements for this position are hearing, speaking, seeing, bending and reaching in addition to the following:lifting up to 55 pounds,infrequently lifting up to 80 poundsbeing able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours/dayoccasionally working up to 10 hours/dayThese physical requirements m ust be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations .The duties of this position may change from time to time.
