Warehouse Team Lead

Job Description

The Warehouse Lead plays a critical role in overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring effective and accurate order processing, efficient inventory control, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position supervises a small team, coordinates shipping and receiving activities, and supports order fulfillment through both manual and automated processes. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Lead works with key members of the Logistics Team to deliver results to our customers.

Responsibilities

Supervise a team of 5 or fewer warehouse staff
Manage inventory control and maintain accurate stock records
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities efficiently
Oversee order fulfillment processes to meet delivery schedules
Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively
Provide training and support to team members
Generate operational and quality assurance reports

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years in warehouse operations
High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift Operator Certification
Experience with inventory management and logistics coordination
Demonstrated team leadership and safety compliance skills
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Strong problem solving, communication, and time management abilities
