Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Immigration Attorney based in California. This remote leadership role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced attorney to advance into a Managing Attorney position. The successful candidate will provide strategic legal counsel, oversee complex immigration matters, and mentor junior attorneys. Duties Develop sophisticated legal strategies for favorable outcomes in immigration cases. Represent clients in various immigration matters, including removal defense and asylum. Conduct advanced legal consultations and represent clients before government agencies. Oversee complex legal matters and review legal documents prepared by staff. Mentor associate attorneys and provide coaching on litigation strategy. Support the expansion of the firm's California operations through community outreach. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active California Bar License in good standing. Minimum five years of immigration law experience. Strong litigation, legal writing, and advocacy skills. Experience representing clients before USCIS and EOIR. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active California Bar License. Skills Advanced immigration law expertise. Strong leadership and mentorship abilities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
