What You'll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings, assessments, and risk evaluations for incarcerated individuals
• Perform segregation checks and monitor inmate mental health needs
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes
• Collaborate with psychiatric, medical, nursing, and security staff to coordinate care
• Provide crisis intervention and manage inmates in mental health crisis or safety risks
• Make routine rounds in confinement areas and support ongoing mental health treatment
• Support mental health initiatives aligned with facility policies and security protocols

What You Need

• Active Tennessee psychologist license
• Experience with psychological assessment and evaluation in correctional or forensic settings
• Knowledge of risk assessment, crisis intervention, and security protocols
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, confined environment

• Prior correctional mental health experience, especially with segregation and high-risk inmates
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with cognitive and behavioral therapy approaches
