- Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on reviews and clinical interviews
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary mental health team (psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, etc.)
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans for inmates
- Perform rounds in segregation and confined housing areas to monitor mental health and inmate adjustment
- Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention
- Consult with medical, psychiatric, and security staff to support comprehensive inmate care
- Ensure treatment procedures follow established guidelines and best practices
Required:
- Active license or board eligibility as a Psychologist
- At least some experience in mental health assessment and treatment
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Prior experience working in correctional or similar settings
