Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist Critical Care
Schedule: PM shifts, 12 hours, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday.
Assignment Details: Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
Requirements
- 3+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility.
- NICU Level 3 and adult critical care experience are required.
- Familiarity with lung protective ventilation.
- Participation on Code Blue team.
- Able to make ventilator decisions based on patient assessment and laboratory results.
- RRT certification, NRP, MA Respiratory Care license, and BLS required.
- NPS and/or ACCS preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patient status and adjust therapy accordingly.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
- Participate in emergency response situations as needed.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and use of equipment.
All necessary credentials must be current and valid for consideration.
