As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help support a secure environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, access points, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials, following access protocols, and reporting discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing facility activity, reporting hazards or concerns, and assisting with security-related incidents involving packages, vehicles, and/or property.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
