As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Jeffersonville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contact.
• Support emergency response activities by communicating clearly with site personnel, assisting with evacuations or restricted access procedures, and following Allied Universal post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
