Cockpit & Trim Engineering Supervisor

The Body Interior Engineering Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of Body Interior Design & Release Engineers, ensuring the efficient and timely development, validation, and release of Body Interior components and systems. This role focuses on optimizing resource allocation and maintaining GPDS integrity for FoM and FNA programs, while adhering to all specific requirements, cost/weight reduction targets, and revenue initiatives. The supervisor ensures robust designs by considering Worldwide Customer Requirements (WCR), Engineering Specifications (ES), System Design Specifications (SDS), Design Rules, Manufacturing/Assembly, and Government Legal standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related engineering field. 5+ years in leading execution of body Interior components and systems during all product development stages. Thorough knowledge and experience of all GPDS and proven skill of interpreting process deliverables for Body Interior. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and strategic vision to diverse audiences, including senior management. Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and team-building abilities. Ability to communicate and interact and negotiate with cross functional teams. Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Software and PC usage knowledge (Word, Excel and Power Point). 3D CAD geometry, C3P tools/process and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances proficiency. Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in leading Body Interior Design and Release Engineering teams, ensuring compliance with GPDS and optimizing resource allocation while meeting customer requirements and project goals.
