This individual will be responsible for leading and overseeing sanitation team members to ensure a clean, organized, and fully sanitized production facility. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $57,000-$62,000/year Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Full time schedule Located in Brighton, Colorado Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and ensure completion, documentation, and maintenance of all sanitation activities in accordance with the Master Sanitation Schedule. Lead by example by working alongside the sanitation team to maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary production environment. Verify that all equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to ensure food safety and product quality standards are met. Ensure all production areas, aisles, break rooms, restrooms, and office spaces are organized, clean, free of debris, and in proper working condition. Monitor sanitation performance, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions promptly. Participate in and support daily departmental start-up meetings, promoting attention to detail and continuous process improvement. Meet or exceed performance expectations established by the QA Manager. Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including proper chemical handling and required training. Communicate sanitation standards and expectations clearly with team members and cross-functional departments. Minimize in-house equipment damage through team awareness, training, and accountability. Verify completion of all required sanitation documentation per established SOPs. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications Ability to read and understand procedure manuals, including chemical mixing and cleaning procedures. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members, management, and other departments. Ability to calculate chemical concentrations, percentages, and apply basic mathematical concepts. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and early morning shifts. Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and handle challenging situations professionally. High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Previous sanitation or food production experience preferred; supervisory experience strongly preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Ability to move throughout and access all areas of a warehouse or production environment. Ability to work in varying temperature conditions. Ability to safely work around heavy machinery and material-handling equipment (including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, and scissor lifts) in a fast-paced environment. -- (Salary range based on experience) --
