Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse with specialization in Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) for a position at the location. This role involves providing high-level care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery, transplants, and other complex procedures in a dedicated Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The RN will be responsible for managing post-operative cardiac patients, including ventilator management, vasoactive medication titration, and advanced monitoring. Job Details Certifications: RN License; BLS; current experience with recovery of post-op cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting; Vent, CRRT, Swan, Epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive gtts titration, level 1 IABP, ECMO. Preferred: ACLS; Critical Care Certification, trauma course, EPIC Location Requirements: Must be licensed and currently practicing as an RN Schedule: Rotating Shift Time; 12 hours shift; 36 hours minimum per week Position Description: The role involves care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, ventricular assist device placement, and other complex procedures in an 18-bed unit with a nurse/patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2. Additional Information: Previous employment in any capacity within the organization or its facilities must be noted on the coversheet and work history for verification purposes. Candidates with past employment as staff, perm, or PRN must be gone for at least 1 year before applying as a traveler.
