Beverage Server - PT

Under general supervision, the Beverage Server obtains guests' beverage orders, while ensuring accurate and timely service of all orders by working with Bar personnel. Beverage Servers are part of the Ladies & Gents of Belterra Park program.

The Ladies and Gents of Belterra Park will represent and highlight the Belterra Park brand by offering a continuous entertainment experience for Belterra Park guests and the general public through beverage service, entertainment routines.

Qualifications include delivering internal and external guest service, always exhibiting a friendly and approachable demeanor, being prepared with the knowledge and skill required to be responsive to guests and team member's needs and questions, and maintaining a well-groomed, neat and clean appearance, in accordance to the requirements of the Ladies & Gents of Belterra Park contract.

Additionally, the role involves modeling, appearing in advertisements, performing entertainment routines, anticipating the guest's needs, making routine rounds of assigned section to obtain beverage orders, recognizing guests with a friendly, courteous greeting, assisting guests with beverage and food selection, accurately entering guests' order information into server's POS system, communicating beverage orders to bar personnel, delivering beverage orders and providing amenities to guests, clearing individual settings from guest tables, maintaining section by collecting used glassware, Styrofoam, ashtrays and debris, cleaning, organizing, and stocking glassware, coffee, water, beverage napkins, ashtrays, straws, etc., limiting problems related to guests' excessive drinking by providing responsible alcohol service, participating in liquor glassware removal, ensuring compliance with all Ohio Gaming Commission regulations, wearing special event uniforms provided for Holidays and other special occasions, carrying out and following through with preparation and other requirements of all event requests, observing and adhering to Health Department regulations regarding food handling, storage, and cleanliness of work environment, abiding by all State, State Gaming, Federal and Corporate liquor Regulations, using and maintaining all assigned areas and equipment in a sanitary, safe and effective manner, consistent attendance at company/restaurant training programs, carrying out duties with attention to detail, sanitation and safety, completing opening, closing and other side duties as assigned by the supervisors, passing all tests given including the training in order to retain the knowledge needed to be an effective server, possessing the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and possessing the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers, performing all job functions in conjunction with the guidelines described in the Standard Operating Procedures manual to ensure consistent execution of company and department standards, and performing all duties as assigned by management.

Job qualifications include being able to obtain and maintain valid gaming license, being at least 19 years of age, demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external guests effectively, being able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification, and familiarity and product knowledge of beverages, wines, and garnishes.
